Alfred Adler was an Austrian psychologist and psychotherapist who developed the school of Individual Psychology, which focuses on the uniqueness of each individual’s life Adler believed that the individual’s life was shaped and motivated by their unconscious thoughts, feelings, and behavior. He also proposed that the individual’s psychological health and overall wellbeing is determined by their view of their place in the world, their relationships, and their environment.
