Unlike other routing protocols, OSPF uses a shortest path algorithm in order to decide which route should be taken. This helps to ensure that packets do not take unnecessarily long paths, resulting in faster data speeds. 3. Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP): EIGRP is an advanced type of Default Routing protocol that uses a special algorithm to determine the best route for packets to travel along. This helps to ensure that packets travel along the most efficient paths, resulting in faster data speeds. 4. Dynamic Routing Protocols: Dynamic Routing Protocols are special protocols that are used to automatically adjust the route of traffic depending on what is happening on the network.
