The Psalms are a collection of religious songs and poetry found in the Hebrew Bible They are part of the third section (Ketuvim) of the Hebrew Bible and are usually grouped together with other poetic books such as Proverbs, Job, and the Song of Songs. 5) Psalm 139: “O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising…” Psalm 139 is a powerful reminder of God’s omniscience and His interest in even the most minute details of our lives.
