Example 2: Get a Degree Many people seek to complete a college degree as a long term goal, as obtaining a higher education often leads to better career prospects. Additionally, this can be a very rewarding and satisfying goal to complete and may open up the doors to many new opportunities. Example 3: Become Financially Independent Financial independence is a goal for many, as it allows for full autonomy in decision making and helps to secure financial security. This long term goal requires a lot of dedication, discipline and hard work, but it may be the most rewarding of all to attain. Example 4: Start a Business Starting a business is a long term goal that can be very rewarding.
