Functional Foremanship: Through this approach, he divided workers into skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled tasks and assigned a supervisor to each group that was responsible for managing the workflow and training workers. 4. Standardized Tools and Equipment: By standardizing the tools and equipment used in each task, Winslow Taylor was able to improve safety, reduce waste and increase productivity. 5.
