of Christianity thesis statement Christianity is a monotheistic religious tradition that originated in the Middle East during the first century CE, and is now the most commonly practiced religion in the world Its sacred texts are known as the Bible, and its core beliefs are centered around a single deity, God, who is responsible for creation and spiritual redemption. In Christianity, Jesus Christ is seen as the son of God who was sent to earth to suffer and die for the redemption of humanity from their sins, and who then rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven. Other core beliefs include the Trinity (God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit); faith in the saving grace of God's love; and a commitment to loving others as oneself. The following are five examples of Christianity thesis statements: 1.
